As a day hike from Cypress bowl to the base of the West Lion is not for the faint at heart, you best bring more than one sandwich and plenty of water in the peak of summer. Many will mock this sandwich, but as a friend said, “It tells a story of pure determination, grit and survival. Just you, your crappy sandwich, and a rock. You are one tough mutha!”
